Beth R Poe, MA, CCC-SLP
Owner/Feeding Therapist
Owner and pediatric feeding therapist at Way To Grow Therapies, Beth is dedicated to empowering families and their children through specialized feeding therapy. She offers a compassionate and family-centered approach in addressing feeding and speech difficulties to ensure the overall well-being of the child.
Beth has been an SLP for over 20 years specializing in feeding, swallowing, language, and speech therapy. She has an undergraduate degree in Human Services from Villanova University, and a dual MA in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from University of Maryland, College Park. She has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2002. She has worked at: Johns Hopkins Hospital, MD; Newport Hospital, RI; Westerly Hospital, RI; Trudeau Early Intervention, RI; Warwick School Department, RI; Hasbro Children's Hospital, RI; and Great Strides Rehabilitation PPECs, FL. She is certified in SOS Approach to Feeding, The Myo Method, Feed the Peds, Hanen It Takes Two to Talk, Kaufman Speech Praxis Approach, and PECs. She speaks Italian and has a working knowledge of Spanish. She currently resides in Jacksonville, FL where she provides home/daycare based feeding tx as well as teletherapy for infants, children and their families.
